Event Objectives

Empower Educators
Many teachers struggle to integrate innovation and technology in education. We focus on co-design, training, and experiential learning to effectively integrate EdTech in the classroom.
Promote sustainable EdTech Businesses
We explore strategies for scaling sustainable EdTech solutions in Africa, including prioritising sustainable business practices, leveraging alternative financing models, developing products tailored to the African market, and utilising diverse resources.
EdTech Testbeds
We introduce and advocate for the EdTech Testbed Framework within South Africa's education system to foster innovation through controlled experimentation.

Building on the highlights of 2023

2024 marked Injini’s third annual edition of South African EdTech Week, and we are confident that we built on the successes of 2023 to create an even more impactful, solutions-oriented programme for all those who shared our passion for the future of Africa’s education system.

Important:
This component uses Transforms (Move Down 100%) to hide and show modal (on Tablet) so that filters apply once the user hits the apply button (optimal UX). Using the display: hidden will prevent the apply button from working.

To show and hide the modal for editing purposes on Tablet:
  • Select the filters1_filters-wrapper inside the parent div filters1_layout div.
  • Hit the Hide button and it will show (yes this is counterintuitive).
