In response to South Africa’s education crisis and high unemployment rate, EduFeArn is delivering inclusive, technology-driven learning solutions that meet the needs of learners across the country.

Founded with Purpose, Built for Local Impact

Gareth Fearnley founded EduFeArn in 2017, drawing on his extensive experience in educational content development, e-learning project management, and digital interventions within underserved schools. He recognised a need for cost-effective, localised, and engaging educational tools, leading him to develop a platform specifically tailored to the South African context and aligned with the CAPS curriculum.

Multilingual Solutions, Real-World Skills

EduFeArn develops CAPS-aligned learning materials and multilingual EduGames, enabling mother-tongue learning in 11 official South African languages. These interactive tools support foundational learning by making content more accessible and relatable.

The EdTech solution also offers digital diagnostic assessments in Mathematics and Sciences and teacher training in technology-enhanced learning methods to tackle learning gaps. Beyond the classroom, EduFeArn runs an incubator programme to equip youth with coding and Unity development skills, opening pathways to future careers in the digital economy.
